Mike Jones

Mike Jones is Senior Director of Product Management for Fortra’s Digital Risk and Email Protection products. He is responsible for the strategy, roadmap, and direction of the company’s advanced email security, digital risk protection, and security awareness training products. Mike came to Fortra in May 2021 with the acquisition of Agari.

Mike has represented Agari in the DMARC.org working group where he helped draft the first release of the DMARC specification and as a Co-Chair of the Online Trust Alliance (OTA) Email Security Committee.

Prior to Agari, Mike was Technical Director of Anti-Spam Operations at AOL and served on the board of directors for Messaging Anti Abuse Working Group (MAAWG). He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Arizona, and a Master of Science degree in Management of Information Technology from the University of Virginia.

Mike is an SME on Email fraud, phishing, business email compromise (BEC), brand protection, identity deception, account takeover, DMARC authentication standard, social engineering.
